If you are new to training then this is where to start. You will have a gradual introduction to training, volume, variations, and load management. The programme comes with an introduction section to help you along your way. This is a 12-week program with 4 days of training per week with 3 days on low volume weeks, these days can be arranged to fit your schedule.
If you do not have lifting shoes a pair on converse or something similar will work just fine. If you are using a lifting belt then they are to be worn on the competition lifts, lifting straps are for the variations, though you do not need ether of these items.
